A focused newsletter on metal: the week's releases, for people who buy on Bandcamp on Friday
Weekly
Once a week: the albums and EPs released this Friday with the subgenre and label, the trade press's verdict, tour and festival dates as they are announced, and one release outside the mainstream worth a first listen. Written for someone who buys on Bandcamp on Friday, subgenre by subgenre.
Not band drama and fan feuds with no news content, not gear or amp reviews unrelated to a release, not clickbait ranking lists with no reporting behind them, not unverified rumours about a band splitting or reforming.
Where the news comes from: Encyclopaedia Metallum, the Metal Archives, Blabbermouth, Loudwire, MetalInjection, Decibel, Bandcamp Daily, metal.
Nobody gets this one yet. It starts when you do.
