A focused newsletter on the Second World War: books, finds and anniversaries, for readers of military history
Monthly
Once a month: new books on the Second World War, wrecks and archive finds, and the anniversaries worth marking. For a reader of military history who wants the new scholarship and finds, not a general history digest.
Not video game and film reviews unless they are directly about the history, not modern politics used only as a comparison to the war, not unverified relic and memorabilia sale listings, not alternate-history speculation.
Where the news comes from: HistoryNet, BBC History Extra, The National WWII Museum, WW2Today, War History Online.
Nobody gets this one yet. It starts when you do.
